A conference needs volunteers!  Would you be willing to volunteer at the LCA Conference?

There are several volunteer positions during the conference:

Registration Table Assistant- You will check in those conference participants who have pre-registered for conference.  You will give them their registration packet, conference bag, and conference program.

Bag Stuffers-You will help "stuff" the conference bags.  Most of these positions will be filled by the Student Scholarship Recipients.

Book Table Assistant- You will help sale LCA and Division materials and collect fund for the materials sale.

Concurrent Session Monitor- These positions will be filled by Student Scholarship Recipients.  However, there may be a need for additional monitors.  You will closely monitor the door to the assigned room.  When the room has filled, you will place the "This Session is Closed" sign on the outside of the door.  Ten minutes after the beginning of the session, you will place a sign indicating that no one is to enter on the outside of the door.  You will introduce the presenter if he wishes you to and make any announcements that should be made.

Hosts/Hostess- You will stand in the halls between sessions welcoming the conference participants and helping them find where they need to be.

Door Greeters and Spotters-You will welcome participants to the General Sessions and Opening Session and help to find seats for them.  Ten minutes after the beginning of the session, you will place a sign indicating that no one is to enter on the outside of the door.

Information Desk Assistant- You will be available at the Information Table to answer questions from the conference participants.

Voting Table Assistant- You will be available at the Voting Table to allow the conference participants to vote for the LCA President Elect and any division elections that are being held.
