Heart and Soul Conference! Day One: Thursday June 17: What Works and How to Deliver It |
|
This first day provides you with all you need to know to maximize the rest of your Heart and Soul of Change experience—the latest and greatest about what works and how to deliver it. Particular attention will paid to rallying clients and their resources in all their diversity to the cause of change as well as embracing that tried and true but taken for granted old friend, the therapeutic alliance—the client and the alliance are the heart and soul of change. In addition, the now replicated findings that client-based feedback substantially increases the effectiveness and efficiency of services—more than anything in the history of our field—will be similarly converted into pragmatic steps to enhance the benefit of any service regardless of the model practiced. Compelling video examples will not only illustrate the known curative factors and their systematic enhancement, but will also leave participants validated to abandon the pursuit of the right brand of counseling.
