Conference Registration Registration for the conference including payment via VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, or e-check can be completed online. Payment is completed through Authorize.Net. Downloaded forms may be mailed to 353 Leo, Shreveport, LA 71105-2915 or faxed to 318 868-3341. Registration is not complete until the registration fees have been received.
On-site registration will be available from 8:00-9:00 each day on the 3rd Floor of the InterContinental Hotel.
One-day registration is only available onsite.
Registration Fees and Payments
Full payment in U.S. funds must accompany the forms or your registration will not be processed. For mailed registration, a check or credit card information must be provided. Credit card payment must include signature, expiration date and security code. Checks should be made out to LCA. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Online payment may be made with valid credit card information or an e-check.
Are You a Member of LCA? Active members of LCA are eligible for a discounted conference rate. If your membership in LCA has lapsed or if you want to become a member of LCA, log on to the LCA web page at www.lacounseling.org to renew your membership or to join LCA.
Good Neighbor Policy LCA participates in the ACA Southern Region Good Neighbor Policy. CA members in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama may also receive member discounted conference rates.
Confirmation
Conference Participants registering online will receive an online confirmation as soon as Authorize.net processes the credit card information. Mailed or faxed registrations will receive an email confirmation within two weeks of receipt of the registration.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If a cancellation is received in writing postmarked by May 15, LCA will refund your conference registration less a $60.00 administrative fee. Address cancellation requests to Heat and Soul conference

Hotel Information The Heart and Soul of Change Conference will be held in the beautiful InterContinental New Orleans. Reservations may be made by calling 800 445-6563. Be sure to mention that you are registering for the LCA Heart and Soul Conference. The Guest Room rate is $119.00 a night. Reservations should be made by May 27, 2010 to receive the conference room rate.
CEU Information This conference has been approved by the Louisiana counseling Association for 18.0 for Licensed Professional Counselors and National Certified Counselors. Review approval is being sought from the National Board of Social Workers, Louisiana Chapter, LASACT, LAMFT. The Training Institute of Phoenix, Arizona will provide CE hours for psychologists. Attendees wanting CE certificates must check the appropriate box online or on the downloadable registration forms. An additional charge of $15.00 will be assessed for processing CE requests if the requests is received prior to May 28. Requests made after May 28 will be assessed $25.00 processing fee.
