Graduate Student Conference Scholarship Fund

GRADUATE STUDENT CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

LCA values its student members. As a way of showing its appreciation, LCA has established a scholarship for graduate students to offset part of their conference costs.

This scholarship covers the conference registration fees only; it does not cover hotel fees or meals.

Ten scholarships for the conference registration will be awarded. In order to apply, the student needs to meet the following criteria:

1. The Applicant must be an LCA Student Member.

2. Applicant must agree to serve as a student moderator at the conference, stuff conference bags, assist with the Pre-conference Workshop Registration, take up tickets at meal functions, and assist at the pre-registration table as needed.

3. Applicants must agree to attend an orientation meeting on the Saturday prior to the beginning of conference.

Applicants are expected to participate each of the four days of the conference. There may a few additional activities in which scholarship recipients may be asked to participate.
