LAAOC

NAME: The official name of the organization is the Louisiana Association for Addiction and Offender Counselors (hereafter referred to as LAAOC).

AFFILIATION: LAAOC is a division of Louisiana Counseling Association (hereafter referred to as LCA). LAAOC is autonomous in the conduct of its affairs, but is operated at all times in compliance with the By-laws of LCA.

PURPOSE : LAAOC is an organization of counselors in the addictions and/or offender fields, individuals who advocate for the appropriate treatment for such populations, or individuals who work in a related field and/or have an interest in this field. LAAOC ‘s mission is to be a high quality resource organization which supports prevention, treatment, research, training, and advocacy for the addicted and forensic/criminal justice populations.
