 INFORMATION ABOUT LAMFC

PURPOSE: The purposes for which LAMFC is formed are to enhance marriage and the family: by conducting and fostering programs of education in the field of marriage and family counseling; by stimulating, promoting and conducting programs of research in the field of marriage and family counseling; by conducting scientific and educational pursuits; by examining conditions which create barriers to marriage and families, and working to remove them; and to engage in such other activities as may be desirable or required to accomplish the foregoing objects and purposes.

MEMBERSHIPS:

Professional - must have a master's degree or higher, be a member of LCA and LAMFC

Regular - member of LCA and LAMFC, and are not qualified for Professional membership

Retired - previous Professional members who are now retired from the profession

Student - must be enrolled in a graduate counseling program at the beginning of the term
