Ethical Clinical Practice in an Electronic Age (New Orleans)

Mrs. Henson, LCSW, JD, LL.M. will present the pertinent rules and regulations governing social media and electronic communications with clients.  She will explore the seduction and risks of both and along with audience participation and case examples, analyse how to reduce such risks to protect the therapeutic relationship and guard clients' confidential.  Ms Henson will teach participants specific steps for responding to subpoenas that compel release of clients clinical record.
