Demystifying the Diagnosis: Practical Application in Clinical Settings is designed as an interactive experience to review appropriate client care within the diagnostic process and to explore the guidelines and law for collaboration and consultation within the counseling experience. The participant will be provided with content derived from the DSM-5, the ACA Code of Ethics, and Louisiana Mental Health Counselor Licensing Act. Conceptualization in deriving a diagnosis and practical application in ethical care will be primary components of the workshop experience.
