Practical Applications of the DSM-5 for Counselors

This course will outline the DSM-5 and discuss comparative differences to previous DSM additions.  Emphasis will be placed on understanding the spectrum approach to diagnosis.  Participants will have opportunities to use course information in appraisal and diagnosis using case studies with small groups.

The presenter is J. Douglas Blair, Ed.D., LPC-S.

6.0 CE clock hours in Diagnosis for LPCs and PLPCs available.  No NBCC credits are available through LCA.
