Sometimes first aid isn’t a bandage, or CPR or calling 911. Sometimes, first aid is you.  A person you know could be experiencing a mental health or substance use problem. Take a course. Safe a life. Strengthen your community.  This is a refresher course for professionals.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an 8-hour course that teaches people how to identify, understand, and respond to someone expressing signs of addiction, mental illness, or mental health crisis.  In just ten years, MHFA has been included in SAMHSA’s Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices.
