Louisiana Family and Divorce Mediation Training: In this comprehensive 40 Hour course, you will learn to apply dispute resolution techniques                                                which will prepare you to add conflict resolution approaches to your existing professional practice or work toward establishing your own mediation                                                          practice.

This course satisfies Louisiana’s training requirement under La. R.S. 9:334, for licensed professionals to be placed on the approved registry                                                                of child custody and visitation mediators, including 8 hours of required co-mediation training. This course is approved for 40 Hours MCLE credit                                                          and 40 Hours of (Family) specialization credit (including1.5 hrs of ethics and 1.0 hrs of professionalism) by the Louisiana State Bar Association MCLE                                            committee and the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.  It is also approved for 40.0 hours of CE credit for LPC’s by the Louisiana Counseling                                                  Association as authorized by the Louisiana Professional Licensing Board of Examiners and 40 hours of CEU credit for Licensed Marriage and Family                                                Therapists by the LAMFT.  In addition, this course is routinely approved for continuing education credit for social workers, psychologists, and                                                              other professionals in related fields.
