This workshop will provide participants both evaluation and intervention strategies for children suspected of having Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This training activity will utilize an evidenced based approach for both assessment and treatment in which a child’s response to scientifically supported interventions will be used for both eligibility and treatment recommendations. In using this Response to Intervention (RtI) approach, the assessment procedures will align well with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and Louisiana regulations for special education eligibility. g but not limited to social skills, children of divorce, grief, and children who have experienced sexual abuse, will be provided.
