BRAIN HEALTH: MOOD, METABOLISM & COGNITION

This course will provide an overview of key factors that can improve mental health, as well as to ensure cognitive health.  this will include a discussion of the importance of stress management, physical activity, weight management, early diagnosis and proper management of diabetes , key dietary factors to "defend the castle", including the concept of "nutritional psychiatry, ways to improve gut health so as to improve brain health, proper sleep hygiene. the importance of oral health and how to incorporate some of the characteristic of our ancestors' lifestyles.

This 6.0 CE clock hour workshop will be presented by Raj Hullon, MD, JD and Gina Willet, Ph.D., RD.  No NBCC hours available through LCA.
