Working with minors is a challenging yet rewarding experience since every adolescent has an ethical right to confidentiality in counseling, but every parent/ guardian(s) has the legal right for counselors to keep their children safe. This workshop will discuss ethical issues regarding the duty to protect adolescent clients by informing parents/guardians of critical information and confidentiality surrounding adolescent counseling
3.0 CE clock hours for re-licensure; no NBCC credits through LCA.
