TeleMental Health credentialing CE course in New Orleans

Louisiana received an "A" rating from the American Telemedicine Associations 2017 GAP analysis for telemental healthcare coverage.  However, Louisiana also received an "F" rating from the Rural Health Quarterly 2017 Report Card for the quality of mental health and access to mental health care.  The federally funded TEXLA Telehealth resource center is available to assist organizations and providers in providing telemental health services.  Like the organizations listed on the TEXLA website, help those with barriers to mental health services receive the care they deserve.

The BC-TMH course was presented at last year's annual conference with great reviews!  

The Telehealth Certification Institute will be offering part-one of this course in New Orleans on April 6th.  If you took this as a pre-conference workshop during the 2017 LCA conference, you are ready for Part 2.

Part-two of the course is provided via a live webinar so that you will have the opportunity to practice providing services online.

This course will help you become confident in knowing how to ethically and legally use technology in practice and provide services online.  It also qualifies you to apply for the Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH) credential.
