The INR continuing education course "Opioids and Marijuana" is a clinically-oriented seminar that concentrates both on the etiology and parthenogenesis as well as diagnosis and practical management of the nationwide health crisis associated with the epidemic of opioid abuse as well as on the available scientific evidence in regard of medicinal and recreational use of marijuana.  This course is designed to provide practical knowledge especially valuable in the current state of affairs whereas every year more than 30 thousand people die as a direct result of opioid overdose and the heavy toll this imposes on our society and its underlying social mechanisms as well as the health care system. 

6.0 CE clock hours including 1.0 CE clock hour in Diagnosis for counselors.  There are no NBCC credits through LCA.
