Workshop #7                 March 15, 2019 Ethical Considerations in Clinical Supervision

Kellie Camelford, Ph.D., LPC-S

Clinical supervisors often face many ethical challenges in supervision due to the attendance to the best interests of both the supervisee and the supervisee’s clients. Supervisors needs to consider the ethical issues that arise such as vicarious liability, informed consent, confidentiality, duty to warn, and multiple relationships. This presentation highlights the ethical standards and the Forester-Davis and Miller ethical decision making model for the supervisor-supervisee relationship.
