THE WHO, WHAT, WHY, AND HOW OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS

The Who, What, Why and How of Anxiety and Depressive Disorders is a workshop designed to assist the counselor in understanding the essential elements of diagnosis and treatment for clients with symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and/or major depressive disorder. The participant will gain insight in the importance of counselor/client trust through humanizing the diagnostic process and will have the opportunity to explore intervention options from a range of therapeutic approaches. Participants who attend the entire workshop will be awarded six (6) CE clock hours. No CE Clock hours will be awarded for partial attendance.

This workshop will award 6.0 CE clock in Diagnosis.  Although LCA is an NBCC ACEP, this workshop was not reviewed for NBCC credits.
