Critical Time Intervention Training

This training will provide an overview of Critical Time Intervention (CTI) a time-limited evidence-based practice that mobilizes support for society’s most vulnerable individuals during periods of transition.
At the conclusion of this educational program, learners will be able to:
- describe the CTI model and the Phases of the practice;
- identify opportunities and challenges associated with transitions into housing;
- identify CTI assessment and planning domains;
- identify effective strategies to help homeless people develop plans to access and maintain homes;
- describe the importance of helping program participants to connect to community-based resources and supports, develop meaningful ways to spend their time and to establish life roles they value; and
- recognize risks to housing stability and describe strategies to intervene to support housing access and prevent housing loss.
