TeleHealth: Standards and Guidelines

This course will teach you the clinical aspects of providing behavioral health services via video and phone sessions.  It covers how to create an emergency management plan, how to assess a prospective client for fit, and the complete process of conducting telemental health sessions.  By practicing the skills of telemental health during this live webinar you will feel more confident in offering these services to clients.

9AM-1:30PM CST  

Arrive at 8:40 AM to work out any audio/visual issues on the webinar.

Following the course, you will log onto the training platform on this website in order to take your evaluation and print off your certificate.

Throughout the course, you will interact with the instructor and other participants by video, audio, and chat. 

A computer with a camera, microphone, speakers, and internet access is required.

After registering, go to “My Account” on the navigation bar, then “My Courses”, click on the name of your course, and when the course page opens you will see the web link for the webinar.

Arrive 15 minutes early to download the webinar software (Zoom).  Upon registering you will be provided a link to join the webinar.
