Ethics Spotlight: Transference, Countertransference, and Personal Values in Counseling

This workshop will define transference, countertransference, and personal values in counseling, and provide a space for clinicians to reflect on how these topics may impact their professional work relationships with clients. The presentation will pinpoint sections of the ACA Code of Ethics related to these topics, as well as spotlight related concepts such as self-disclosure, value conflicts, value impositions, and bracketing.

3.0 CE clock hours in Ethics; this workshop was not reviewed for NBCC credits.
