Healing the Hurt Adolescent: Understanding Compulsive Behaviors Rooted in Trauma

This workshop will allow providers to gain a better understanding of types of trauma an adolescent my experience.  The workshop provides insight into how adolescent clients re-victimize themselves through compulsive behaviors as a result of cognitive distortions obtained through their trauma.  The workshop will explore treatment modalities to help uproot these behaviors and plant seeds for healing.
