These sessions will challenge participants by exposing them to multiple type of abuse and neglect. Participants will learn legal principles and terminology relevant to understand child abuse and neglect. Sessions will challenge participants to examine their own personal discourse and how it relates to their ability to assess, engage and practice. Participants will work in groups, complete mini assignments and share personal and professional experiences.
The presenter will be Dr. Gilbert Singleton
This workshop is approved for 6.0 CE clock hours for professional counselors. It was not reviewed for NBCC credits.
