Conceptions of the Self: A Day of Mindfulness for Mental Health Professionals

This workshop will present differing conceptions of the "self" arising from cultural understandings and therapy approaches and discuss the subjective experience and understanding of the self arising from these differences and having implications in therapy.  Periods of sitting and walking meditation will instruct participants in mindfulness and aid in their focus.

This workshop will award 6.0 CE clock hours for professional counselors; this workshop was not reviewed for NBCC credits.
