Integrated Healthcare for People w/ Mental Illness

Individuals living with mental health conditions are often managing other chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, etc. This workshop will outline how integrated healthcare improves mental and physical outcomes. Dr. Dunn-Lombard will also discuss her holistic approach to treatment, which includes psychiatric medication management, internal medicine, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic psychotherapy, and yoga.

Presenter Donisha Dunn-Lombard, MD specializes in psychiatry and takes a holistic approach to addressing mental health conditions. She will address the benefits of integrated behavioral healthcare and primary healthcare for people who are managing other chronic illnesses alongside a mental health condition
