Location: Capital Area Human Services Street, 4615 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA. 70806, Baton Rouge

Many people who seek mental health care drop out. By some estimates, 70% that drop out do so after their first or second visit. The first moments of interaction between a therapist and a person seeking care for a behavioral health condition can set the tone and course of treatment. In this workshop, attendees will examine their role in engaging clients in their own treatment and establishing a therapeutic alliance.
