Just as children need to learn the language of adults, so adults must learn the language of children. Just Push Play: An Introduction to Play Therapy will analyse well known theories incorporated in Play Therapy. This workshop will enable therapist to explore a child's natural language of play and how they communicate through the toys. This workshop will explore the play therapy room, what is needed in the room, and how to engage children through the modality of Play Therapy. Lastly, it will employ experiential activities for therapists to practice to apply as they work with children.
