Each of the five sessions of this conference will address many issues/treatment modalities that are relevant to all clinicians in practice regardless of their specific discipline.  Session 1: “Breaking the Pattern of Chronic Anxiety: Transformative Treatment Strategies” will include content on the areas of Counseling Theory, Human Growth and Development, Abnormal Behavior and Diagnosis, and Appraisal of the Individual.  Session 2: “Please Put On Your Own Mask Before Assisting Others” will be based on clinical ethics principles of self-care for the  clinician on a personal and professional basis and is applicable to clinicians in practice. Also will include the Helping Relationships. Session 3: “Controlling the Chaos: Navigating practice and personal changes during uncertain times” will address content on the areas Counseling Theory and Change Theory, Professional Orientation, Counselor Practice Issues, and Abnormal Behavior.  Session 4:   Focusing in Motivational Interviewing” will include content on the areas of Counseling Theory, Appraisal of the Individual and Abnormal Behavior.Session 5:  “Laughing Your Way to Wellness (Humor for the Brain and Body)” will include content on the areas of Counseling Theory, The Helping Relationships, Human Growth and Development, Abnormal Behavior and Diagnosis.

This Institute will award 7.5 CE clock hours including 2.0 in Ethics and 3.0 in Diagnosis.  It was not reviewed for NBCC credits.
