Substance Use Disorder Toolkit for Medical and Behavioral Providers _

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan will be conducting a general training on the appropriate screening, intervention and referral of Substance Use Disorder. The training is being made available at no cost. This state specific (Louisiana) training is part of a request from the Louisiana Department of Health to ensure patients engage in ongoing treatment following their initial diagnosis, through education of both behavioral health and front line medical staff. These trainings will provide an overview of the appropriate screening tools, levels of care, resources and Medication Assisted Treatment.
