Children with autism struggle to connect socially. This workshop will educate therapists on the importance of building the therapeutic relationship with both the child and family; scaffolding the social competence of the child to natural environment such as school; and improving emphatic skills of the child and empathy for the child’s experience within the family through play therapy and Autplay based interventions.
