This course will explore spiritually and its impact on the client, family dynamic, and play therapy process. In addition, it will address ethical considerations regarding spirituality in the play therapy room as well as identify one's own spiritual attitude that may impact the play therapy process. Also, it will distinguish between spirituality and religion as well as address the concept of spiritual abuse. Lastly, experiential activities will be offered to practice engaging a client in play therapy and honoring his or her spiritual concepts.
