Practice Guidelines for Telehealth

Join us on Friday, December 11, 2020 via Zoom as the University of Holy Cross hosts a synchronous training titled "Practice Guidelines for Telecounseling and Telemental Health in Louisiana: Legal and Ethical Consideration" from 8:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with the Zoom invitation link listed under "Additional Information."

This 9-hour synchronous training in teletherapy is designed to meet the training and privileging requirements set forth by the LPC Board of Examiners.

This training will focus on Telecounseling and Telemental Health in Louisiana. The training will examine the legal and ethical concerns related to this topic. Topics will include the ACA Code of Ethics and the LPC Board’s rules regarding Telecounseling and Telemental Health. This training will be conducted synchronously, meaning participants are required to attend a 9 hour zoom meeting during the time of the training. This training will be capped at 200 participants, on a first come first serve basis.

The University of Holy Cross has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. Participants will earn 9 continuing education hours including 4 in Ethics, 1 in Diagnosis, and 1 in Supervision. A CEU certificate will be emailed upon completion.
