The Center for E2P is now accepting applications for an online training in Preschool and Youth PTSD treatment. This training is free-of-cost to Louisiana Medicaid providers through our partnership with the Office of Behavioral Health. The training will take place on February 22nd, 2021 and be followed by ongoing consultation.

To qualify, agencies must accept Medicaid, be actively treating children and adolescents, and demonstrate organizational commitment to evidence-based practices. Space is limited, and practitioners not accepted for this cohort will be placed on the waitlist for future PPT/YPT opportunities.

Please download the Request for Applications document linked below to learn more about PPT/YPT and the application process.

Preschool PTSD treatment training is a one (1) day (8 hours) session that is offered to Licensed Mental Health Practitioners who are interested in becoming certified to provide Preschool PTSD treatment for children ages 3-6 years. A select number of Louisiana Medicaid behavioral health professionals (clinicians, supervisors, and administrators) will be chosen to participate. This training will be led by Dr. Devi Murphy (Tulane University – Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral sciences).
