The intent of this workshop is to offer counselors three (3) of continuing education assessment of substance use disorders. Attendees will review six guiding principles in assessing clients with substance use disorders, discuss key techniques for working with clients who have substance use disorders, learn to create successful relationships with clients who use/have used substances, and learn to integrate SUD assessment into comprehensive treatment planning.
