The presentation will focus on what behavior design research has found creates lasting change and what does not create lasting change as a foundation for understanding how family can be leveraged in a very specific, structured, and positive way to work as a team (including their newly recovering loved one) to reduce AMAs, increase compliance with aftercare recommendations, prevent or reduce length of relapse, rebuild trust and a sense of belonging in the family, and ultimately lead to durable family recovery.
The speaker Debra Jay, MFA, is co-founder of a private practice providing clinical intervention services nationally and is founder of Structured Family Recovery services and training.
