 As Elisabeth Kübler-Ross stated, “Children are often forgotten mourners”. This presentation will address talking with and supporting children as they journey through grief. It will address children’s developmental levels and their understanding of death at each stage.

 The presenters are Marc Markell teaches at St. Cloud State University in the Department of Special Education and Kathryn Markell who has a Ph.D. in psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She teaches child and adolescent psychology and death and dying classes at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

This workshop is approved for 1.5 CE clock hours; no NBCC credit is available for this workshop.
