When a child is referred for therapy, they are not the only one in treatment. This workshop will highlight the role that a caregiver plays in the child’s social and emotional wellbeing throughout childhood and will support clinicians in engaging parents in their child’s mental health treatment.
The presenter Halley Carmack is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) holding space for children and their caregivers in North Carolina and Florida.
