The last two years have given us the challenge of diagnosing during times of disaster.  The pandemic and hurricanes have affected our communities and the clients we serve.  How does this contribute to diagnosis?  What changes have we seen in the client population becasue of these stressors?  By the completion of this program, participants will be able to complete the following objectives:

  • Discuss how disasters contribute to the diagnoses we use with our clients
  • Identify the differences between anxiety, stress, PTSD, adjustment disorders and depression when diagnosing clients
  • practice diagnosis using case studies nd scenarios.
