This one-hour webinar is being held to inform potential participants on the intricacies of Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and gauge the need and interest for the Center for Evidence to Practice to host a training. CPP is an intervention model for children aged 0-5 who have experienced traumatic events and/or are experiencing mental health, attachment, and/or behavioral problems. A central goal is to support and strengthen the caregiver-child relationship as a vehicle for restoring and protecting the child’s mental health.
This is a one-hour long Zoom Webinar that will primarily be used as an informative session on CPP where the trainers will explain what CPP is, when it’s appropriate to use it with a client, what training and certification entails, and how it interacts with other therapeutic services clinicians may offer.
