Survivors of sexual trauma often find it difficult to engage in healthy, pleasurable sexual relationships after experiencing abuse and assault. This workshop will educate participants about the characteristics of a healthy sexual adult and the difference between harmful, unhealthy and healthy sexual behaviors. Participants will also identify the barriers to clients developing a healthy sexual self and learn tools to assist clients with developing a healthier sexual self.
As a result of this training, participants will be better able to:
- Explain the characteristics of a healthy sexual adult
- Differentiate between harmful, unhealthy and healthy sexual behaviors
- Apply tools to assist clients with developing a healthier sexual self
