This course will explore the types of social media, the negative impact on mental health as well as benefits of moderate use. Strategies to guide clients to mindful use will be explored.
The presenter will utilize lecture, case studies, and discussion to explore the impact of the use of social media on mental health. Negative symptoms associated with overuse as well as benefits of moderate use will be identified.
