Join us for an event highlighting the power of community in mental health treatment in Baton Rouge. You will gain knowledge about the history of community health centers and develop an understanding of essential aspects of providing care to individuals with mental health conditions from a community-focused perspective.
We will review the history of federally qualified healthcare centers and community clinics. Additionally, we will assess twelve key areas of focus when addressing the treatment of individuals with mental health disorders within the context of community care. These areas include:
