Program Description
This telehealth CEU will define emerging experiential therapies and their effectiveness in treating complex stress and attachment rupture from childhood. We will also review screening instruments for trauma related dissociation in order to create psychological safety via telehealth.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
• Participants will be able to name 3 alternative treatment modalities that can be used
for experiential therapy via telehealth
• Participants will be able to define the meaning of the phrase “establishing safety for
deeper work” in order to build the capacity to tolerate emotional distress
• Participants will be able to explain the necessity for adequate screening of trauma
related dissociation
• Participants will be able to demonstrate understanding of imaginal resource building
for corrective emotional experience

1:00-1:30pm: Inner Resources, Core Self, Self of the therapist
Join the presenters as we present on emerging experiential therapies to treat complex traumatic stress (CPTSD), and attachment traumas. We will cover the unique challenges and opportunities of providing these approaches via telehealth, including the necessity to screen for client safety.
