This webinar is online via Zoom   Training through case studies is an effective instructional strategy that promotes active learning, critical thinking, and real-world application of knowledge. Case studies present learners with realistic, complex scenarios that mirror actual challenges they may encounter in their roles. This method encourages learners to analyze problems, evaluate options, and make informed decisions, thereby bridging the gap between theory and practice. Using case studies in training provides several key benefits: 1. Contextual Learning: Learners engage with content in a meaningful context, enhancing understanding and retention. 2. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Case studies require learners to assess situations, identify problems, and propose solutions, fostering analytical and strategic thinking. 3. Collaborative Learning: When used in group settings, case studies encourage discussion, perspectivesharing, and teamwork. 4. Engagement and Motivation: Real-world relevance increases learner engagement and motivation to participate actively. 5. Skill Development: Case studies help develop a range of skills including communication, decisionmaking, leadership, and ethical reasoning. Overall, case-based training is a learner-centered approach that not only conveys knowledge but also cultivates practical skills, preparing learners to handle similar situations effectively in their professional roles

A case study approach will be used with each module: Ethics, Diagnosis and Supervision. This is a hands-on approach that will give each participant the opportunity to test their skills and receive feedback. A copy of the DSM or access to a DSM is necessary for diagnosis. Access to the ACA Code of Ethics will be necessary.
