This 1.5-hour webinar explores how chronic illnessesâ€â€such as HIV, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, and other long-term health challengesâ€â€intersect with trauma across the lifespan. Participants will examine the psychological, emotional, and developmental impacts of chronic illness through a trauma-informed lens, with attention to cultural, social, and systemic factors that shape clients’ experiences. The session provides practical, evidence-based strategies to support healing, strengthen resilience, and enhance culturally responsive care in both clinical and community settings.
