In this presentation, attendees will learn to identity to help increase their cultural competency to effectively work with immigrants and refugees. Attendees will be provided with helpful resources, address linguistic barriers, learn tools to address migration and race-based trauma, and learn how to adopt a trauma informed framework to enhance the counseling experience for immigrants and refugees.
