The Louisiana Association of Counseling Graduate Students seeks to provide graduate students with the resources and leadership development to excel. The mission of LACGS is to advocate in areas where graduate students can shine as the next generation of counselors.
Membership with LACGS gives you access to many resources that range from CEU opportunities, jobs and supervision, training, leadership development, and more! Along with these resources, LACGS allows you to connect with other graduate counselors around the state to build a sense of community.
According to the NACE, thousands of counselors are enrolled in graduate programs to receive professional preparation to move forward in the counseling profession. Through connection with other professional graduates, graduate students can ignite their love for learning, encourage one another throughout internships and classes, and practice their skills.
