Louisiana Counselors for Social Justice

The Louisiana Counselors for Social Justice is a community of counselors who seek equality and an end to oppression and injustice affecting clients, students, counselors, families, communities, schools, workplaces, governments and other social and institutional systems.

Louisiana Counselors for Social Justice is a Division of the Louisiana Counseling Association and a state branch of the ACA Counselors for Social Justice.  
The mission of LCSJ is to work to promote social justice in our society through confronting oppressive systems of power and privilege that affect professional counselors and our clients and to promote change in our society through the professional development of counselors.
 
It is a non specialty division--that is, counselors who espouse principles of social and restorative justice choose to join the division.
