ADHD Treatment, Bullying: Recognizing and Responding Effectively, and a Beautiful Mind: Movie and Discussion

Location: RKM primary Care, 11990 Jackson Street, Clinton, Clinton

Participants will learn to recognize presentation of ADD and ADHD, differentiate common co-occurring disorders, and understand effective interventions including medication and therapies. 1.5 hours

Participants will learn how to recognize and respond effectively to bullying behavior, understand the different between conflict and bullying, learn effective strategies for controlling bullying, and understand how to create an environment where everyone understands bullying behaviors are not acceptable, harmful and preventable. 1.5 hours

Participants will watch a movie: A Beautiful Mind and have an interactive discussion regarding the diagnoses of the character, examine the decline in the character’s mental status, and become aware of how Schizophrenia affects the diagnosed person and their family/peers. 3.25 hours.

This workshop will award 6.25 CE Clock Hours.   including 4.75 in Diagnosis.  No NBCC credits through LCA.
