Assessment and Interventions for Adolescent Depression

Between the ages of 12-15, the depression rate in girls triples from 5% to 15% (NIMH). This workshop will provide participants strategies for addressing adolescents suspected of having depressive disorders. Additionally, the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for depressive disorders and developmentally appropriate interventions for adolescents with depression will be explored.

3.0 CE clock hours for re-licensure; no NBCC credits through LCA.
